What are Ceramist Gail Steele's credentials?

Since learning how to do ceramics herself way back in 1980, Gail has been continuously involved in the wonderful world of ceramics - initially as a student ; then opening her first studio, at her Sydney home in Beecroft “Gail’s Gallery” in the 90s and finally in 2003, opening “Ab. Fab. Ceramics” on St Huberts Island on the NSW Central Coast.

NSW CERAMIC ART ASSOCIATION’S COMPETITIONS (C.A.A.)In every year (1999-2004) in which she entered, Gail won at least one first place ribbon in the Professional or Advanced Professional divisions of the prestigious C.A.A.'s Annual Art Show and competition.

And from 2003, when Ceramics Competition was re- introduced by
THE SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW (R.A.S.) she has also, in each year she’s entered (not 2006-7), earned winning
ribbon(s) in this highly valued and widely contested competition.....including, in 2008 and 2009 winning the highly prized Purple Rossette and medal as well as a showing
in the “ Standard of Excellence” Cabinet!
